Euro Cylinders

There are two main types of euro cylinders: those that operate with a key and those that use a thumbturn. Both types of euro cylinders provide a secure locking mechanism for doors, but there are some key differences between them.

Key operated euro cylinders have a keyhole on both sides of the door. Thumbturn euro cylinders, on the other hand, have a thumbturn on the inside of the door and the key is used on the outside. This allows you to lock and unlock your door from the inside without needing a key.

Both types of euro cylinders offer excellent security features and can be used in residential and commercial settings alike. If you’re looking for convenience then thumbturn euro cylinders may be best for you, while if you’re looking for extra security then key operated euro cylinders may be more suitable.

Our ranges of Euro Cylinders are available in various sizes which can be mastered, keyed-alike or keyed-to-differ.

Mastered Euro Cylinders are designed to work with a master key system. This allows one master key to open multiple locks, while still allowing each individual lock to be opened with its own unique key. This is useful for businesses or other organizations that need to manage access to multiple doors.

Keyed-Alike Euro Cylinders are designed so that all the locks use the same key. This is ideal for applications where one key can open all the doors in a home, school or apartment building.

Keyed-to-Differ Euro Cylinders have different keys for each lock. This is useful when you want to ensure that only certain people have access to certain areas, such as in an office building or school.
